๐๏ธ A Water Park in the Heart of the City, Seoul
Did you know that parts of Hangang Park transform into a huge water park every summer? ๐โโ๏ธ๐
Ttukseom and Yeouido Pools, and the Water Play Areas at Nanji, Yanghwa, Jamsil, and Gwangnaru will be open from mid-June through late August!
The biggest charm of the Hangang pools is their wide-open scenery. ๐ While enjoying the cool water, just look up โ and the Hangang River and Seoul's skyline stretch out before you. โจ
The Yeouido pool features an aqua ring and fountain, making it especially popular with kids, while the Jamsil water play area has a natural stream and sandpit, giving you the feel of a small nature playground right in the city. ๐ฟ
But why head straight home after the water fun? ๐
Wide grass areas and bicycle paths around the pools are well maintained, where you can enjoy a picnic on a mat or spend a relaxed afternoon cycling along the Hangang River. ๐ดโโ๏ธ
Most Hangang pools and water play areas are highly accessible, being located near subway stations. Park parking lots are also nearby, making group bus access easy as well. ๐
If you want to enjoy Seoul's hot summer with water play, a picnic, and riverside scenery all at once, come spend the coolest day at the Hangang Pools. ๐โ๏ธ
