A Leisurely Space Within the City
Once packed with factories and warehouses, Seongsu-dong is now one of Seoulās trendiest neighborhoods. And at the heart of it all is Seongsu Naknak.
Seongsu Naknak, once an old factory in Seoul, has been transformed into a vibrant cultural hotspot. It recently gained attention as the reunion spot for high school friends in the Netflix series Our Unwritten Seoul, and as a filming location for the movie Lovely Runner.
The complex consists of three buildings, divided into two zones: the āAround Culture Zone,ā filled with rich cultural content, and the āUrban Life Zone,ā where visitors can discover shops to enjoy a trendier and more modern lifestyle, modern lifestyle. Itās a dynamic space full of things to see, eat, and enjoy at a relaxed pace.

A Charming Alleyway Filled with Seoulās Timeless Charm

Ikseon-dong, a Hanok village formed during the Japanese colonial period in the 1920s, remained a quiet residential neighborhood until the early 2000s. But beginning in the mid-2010s, stylish cafĆ©s and boutique shops began appearing throughout its narrow alleys, gradually transforming it into one of Seoulās hidden gems. Ikseon-dong further rose to prominence as a beloved place where tradition and modernity coexist, riding the wave of Koreaās retro and newtro trends, especially after being designated a āHanok Preservation Districtā in 2018.
